About the Role

SOLID WASTE TRUCK DRIVER

The Solid Waste Services Division of Edmond Public Works provides waste collection and disposal services to residential

households and commercial establishments within Edmond. Services include collection of weekly waste, curbside recycling,

monthly bulk items, and city-coded bag disposal.

The Solid Waste Truck Driver will perform skilled work by operating heavy-duty packer refuse collection trucks. They are

responsible for operating and maintaining a heavy-duty refuse collection truck equipped with a hydraulic powered packer
