About the Role
The Toolik Field Station (TFS) at the Institute of Arctic Biology (IAB) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced EMT
and Station Safety Coordinator. TFS is a world-renowned Arctic field station located 360 road miles north of Fairbanks
on the rural Dalton Highway. The remote station supports researchers, students, and others from around the world. The
population of the station can vary from 3 in the winter months to 150 residents in the summer (over 400 different
individuals annually) and is open 365 days a year.
This position oversees one seasonal EMT/Safety Coordinator during the summer season (May-September). Reports to and
